Travall are the best, I have one with the divider which is also very useful when keeping hungry spaniels away from the shopping!

Does your car not have the built in dog guard?...I thought they all had that retractable pull up screen that clips to the roof above the back seats, I was chuffed when I found that in the car as just got a dog & its great to have it built in to stop it jumping over onto the back seats, gold star to audi for that one!

That's not a proper dog guard, it's to stop stuff in the boot flying forward but yes it will stop a dog jumping through. Some people prefer the metal grid type guard as it allows them to see the dog properly and vice versa

Sorry to be late with this response. I have the genuine one from Audi. Think it cost about £220. It is very good but a bit of a faff to take out as there is no quick release. Plus with the genuine hard mat you have to make holes for the four bolts to attach to the luggage rails. Stops my mutt dribbling over the back seats though.
FYI i had a material mat before that went up all the sides of the boot. Was great until the dog was wet and it just got stinky really fast. Only lasted a few months and then changed it for the proper hard mat.
Good Luck

I have one of these
http://www.boot-buddy.com/all-products/safe-d-guard in my C6 Avant and in the wife's A1 - they do the job perfectly and are much more discrete than anything else I have seen. No impact or restriction of vision to the rear but do need a wipe down every now and again. Easy to remove and good value IMO

The boot buddy looks good as say, plus all their items seem sensibly priced. Most common are travall by all accounts so will look at all the options.
Thank you all for the info.
