I assume that, in order to avoid going back home again on the train, you don't actually collect your car until the following morning

We're en route to Dorset Kev to do just that, albeit collecting the Wife's new Volvo. A free night in Poole tonight to collect the car 1st thing tomorrow & a full tank of fuel.
