Pre Facelift Rear lights?

Post by RS6chris! » Tue Jul 05, 2016 7:24 pm

What do you guys think of these?

Are they OEM Audi or aftermarket?

I thought 2015 lights didn't fit without a new bumper etc??

It's trying too hard. If you want the lights buy the facelift.

The front ones definitely don't fit but I'm not sure about the rears. However, those don't look like genuine Audi tail lights.

Yeah

That's what I thought to be fair....

I prefer pre face lift front lights but facelift rears!

Il drop them a line.

I agree. I really like the DRL shape on pre-facelift however, the facelift shape has really grown on me since I bought it (but still not as mean looking as the pre).

They definitely aren't. You can tell just from the clarity and quality of the headlight glass and the colour of indicator LEDs that they're aftermarket.
Plus the speed at which the indicators strobe is all wrong too.

OEM audi with the adapters fitted maybe?
I was watching the video and trying to work out if the are actually sweeping or just a delay between the 2 parts but couldn't conclusively say one way or another (I'm leaning towards an actual sweep).
My ones appear to be more clearly made of lots of different little LEDs whereas the one in the video looks like a single sweeping LED

I agree. You're on the money with the difference in "detail" between them and oems. Maybe it's lost due to the video? And I also seem to think the indicators aren't really sweeping along at all. It seems more like the two like parts are just lighting up with a very small sequence difference. Which I think is why I thought the timing of it was all wrong.

It's a bit of a bodge but don't worry it'll be fine. Err, no thanks.
