Removing DRC suspension

Hi all,

I read that the DRC suspension has something clever to manage roll across all 4 corners (think i read it in the latest copy of EVO magazine, where they reviewed the PE) I have a set of coilovers to fit and was wondering how complicated taking off the DRC stuff will be; do i need an Audi specialist?

Thanks,
Rob

DRC is a kind of "hydraulic levelling" system so when the weight of the car in corner tries to roll the car, the DRC pumps very high pressure fluid into the "low" side to raise it back up to level.

As for removal, once the struts are removed all that is left is some pipes and central "pump". On the C5 RS6 all of that is left in place, the highly pressurised fluid is drained during the strut removal which is the only "safety" issue.

Bear in mind that's a very simplified explanation and it's more technically complicated in actual operation :D
