Anybody Any Clue What This Is?

Picked up the monster last Friday LOVE it - £120 in 3 days fuel
Despite being able to download the App and identify the RS, it would appear that I don't have Connect, but I can live without it.
This was in the centre console? Anyone any clue what it is? or is it a garage opener from previous owner?
Car is Epic - feels quicker than my previous R8 V10 - maybe not the drama, but easier to get into, comfier and way more practical.
Would love to keep the valves open on the sports exhaust, but fear if I do, it would throw up a fault code.
Cheers Guys...

Having had my insurance quote through I'd guess this is going to be a requirement for this car before long.

Unless you have registered the Tracker then it is pointless carrying it around. I'd try driving it round the block a few times without it to see what happens. What normally happens if it is registered and active is that if you drive without it then the call centre ring the registered owners phone number to see if they have forgotten the tab or if the car is stolen. If it is stolen they can then remotely immobilise the car.
As regards the valves, disconnect them. There is no fault light or error code that comes up on the dash. It does log a fault but unless you plug
VCDS in you will never know. I've had mine unlgugged pretty much since I bought it.

Aye
I had to have one fitted....few different companies when I was hunting for renewal wanted stupid money UNLESS tracker was fitted....
Ironic thing is....none of them wanted proof one was fitted (paperwork wise) happy to accept my word it had one
Don't want the thing back anyway of it gets nicked.

Exactly, don't want it back if it gets nicked. Have just left mine in the glovebox.

Thing is, if reported they'll track it anyway.

Even if the subscription is expired?

I guess that's a different matter. If the subscription is expired doesn't matter where you leave the fob.
Just thinking of the scenario where you've got a tracker but don't use it when it may help recover the vehicle. Not going to look good as an insurer.
As it happens I have to evidence subscription to Aviva.

With the Tracker cat 5 tracker you will most probably get the car back before it has really gone anywhere meaning you are saved having to claim and go through the whole horrible claims process which even with gap will be a pain in the backside having to find / order a new car. Isn't it easier to just stop them getting far in it and getting it back?
The Tracker one (assuming it is fitted properly and not in one of the obvious places) will pretty much get you your car back; it also uses VHF technology meaning it can still be found if underground or in container. No other tracker does this that I am aware of. And if stolen without the tab it will be quickly immobilised and recovered.

I think mine has a Cobratrak 5 (not 100% sure), but subscription is not active. I would really not want it back even if they didn't get too far. Although where I live (touch wood!) it's unlikely to be stolen in the first place....

Cynic might suggest they hope you lie to them about fitting one. It is the first thing they will check if you try and claim - and if no record, no pay out.

Should also add, Admiral do not require it, was just on the car when I got it.

Cheers all
Now just to learn how to open the exhaust valves, given I can't change a plug....
