Apologies if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find anything useful in the Search.

So, can the reversing camera be retro-fitted to the C7? I didn't go for it and would quite like it after all. RS6 is wider than my RS5 and not as easy to see when reversing into my open barn garage with a central pillar.

A couple of websites seem to provide the kit + installation but has anyone got any experience of doing this, or can Audi dealers do a retro-fit?

I'm in the same position, I did look on that link but it's not a very clear website!

Yes it can as I had it done on mine but for OEM it is not cheap.
Have chat with the guys from Richtersport.co.uk.

Scandalous that a car at this price point hasn't got it as standard.


However who ever also never chose it's an option from new is daft....a Deffo for a car this size...

Yes you would of thought so but there are plenty out there without the camera ...... a lot on the audi dealer site.

Perfect, I will get in touch with them. Looks like £1,095 full retro fit for a 2016 car.

If you do go ahead with the camera do make sure you tell Audi when it goes for a service or any other work it has an aftermarket fitment.Mine went in for a oil service which they did with a software update which wiped the camera code (?)this meant a trip back to Richter for them to reset the code which audi paid for.( Because they did not ask about the camera or any other aftermarket fitments).

Not sure where you are based but I had an OEM camera installed on my C6 RS6 by Hazzy Dayz near St Albans for around £750.00 all in. Great job and exactly the same as had Audi carried out the work. They specialise in Audis and VAG in general so worth a look?
