Farewell RS6 and thanks to GC Motors

Another victim of the Oil and Gas industry crash, it was time to take stock and "cut my cloth accordingly".

I sold the RS6 to GC Motors in Harrogate last month and she has already found a new owner.

GC Motors were a pleasure to deal with, very professional and communicative and above all a damn sight better that dealing with Audi directly. I achieved a lot more from the deal that Audi had offered.

Really enjoyed the car, very capable and super quick. It is tough to think about what else could replace the RS6 when I finally get myself back to work full time. In the meantime and so I can continue fishing I've got myself a VW Caddy Maxi. A step down in power, from 553bhp to 98bhp!

I'll still keep checking in on the forum to see what is going on and I've also got a few items for sale in the classified section, so a quick plug...

Audi RS6 Outdoor cover, never used **SOLD**

... and a load of Thule gear too.

All the best lads,

Sorry to hear that your have left the fold...for now!

I too am in the oil&gas industry and it is is case of keep your head down at the moment hoping things will improve soon. It is not so much if I can keep the car it is more if I can afford to run and service it long term should things go pear shaped!

Good luck with the job hunt, could not have been easy to see the RS6 go! Haste ye back!

Good luck wth the job hunt.

I test drove your car last month. Very nearly went for it but it was just in and they wouldn't deal where I wanted it to be!. Nice condition though, liked the colour combo :)

Thanks guys.

I'm looking forward to having summer off and have a few irons in the fire with regards work and also shifting industries as there are plenty of infrastructure jobs in London.

Next fast car, well, maybe back to Porsche ownership.

Thanks Dragon, GC pricing is pretty keen and not too far from what they offered me for the car in the first place.
