Niggles

Post by Bit_evl » Wed May 25, 2016 10:29 am

So after 3 months of riding the missile here is the list of "Dear Mr Audi" requests from me.
I hope Audi monitors the forum for feedback.

Small niggles and a worry. In essence the car is pretty damn amazing.

FL 2016 PE model.
Steering wheel gearbox paddles - more aldi than harrods, need to be made of cool touch metal as standard, as do a number of other bits you touch. It is an RS.
Top tray for phone storage, too small for new iPhone 6+ for the blind model. Also needs cable trough to allow the coil phone cable to have the phone outside the box for glance.
Sound quality is a little cluttered and tubby sounding with the default system.
Key needs to be half the size. It never leaves your pocket so you don't need/want the status symbol fob, unless you want the "Is that an Audi key in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me" moments.
Needs a touch more rear bias on the handling in default mode.
The post power off engine fans are really noisy. Really really according to my neighbours. I appreciate the turbos are in the hot V position but is there any way to reduce the level of noise.
The glovebox may be coolee but its so small the best you can expect is a chilled out hamster rather than a decent wine bottle for the picnic.

Also can anyone tell me where I can get a couple of pictures of red setters looking terrified (do they have any other expression) to paste in the back window for a laugh

Oh and the big one.........its is really too damn fast for public roads. Keeping it from coasting up to 100mph requires serious focus.
