RS6 Day

Picked up my RS6 PE this afternoon. It looks great and I love the blue carbon and stitching. My first blue car since a cosmos blue Griffith 500 in the mid 90s. Thanks to all those who gave advice on options. (I should have splashed out on the carbon pack). She is booked in with Incredible Detail in Glasgow to put film protection on in the next fortnight. I have kept RS4 just in case I don't like the new one!

Absolutely stunning mate. It is exactly the exterior I would have specified (well maybe Nogaro, maybe). Blue, black gloss PE Alloys, Black optics. Fantastic.

Thanks

There was a slight panic when Intelligent Finance would not approve the payment of the deposit despite having the funds. After 30 mins they agreed to pay the 2% extra to put a chunk on a credit card.

The chap Abie Torrance at Stirling Audi has been very good.

Mr Badger,

I bloody LOVE it - it is absolutely epic. I've had some quick cars in the past but this thing is close on defying the laws of Physics (which, as a Physics teacher amuses me greatly). I love the fact that I can put the bikes or dogs in the boot, tons of space for my two teenage kids and I can waft around in limo luxury, or stick it in sport mode and have a blast down my favourite back roads.

I got Gordon at Defined Details to give it a ceramic coating and it is working incredibly well. Car cleans up a treat and the shine and water repellant nature of the coating is excellent.

I suspect you'll not need the RS4 soon!! :thumb: :nogarors4:

Scottie thats good to hear as I have not used them before.

First day with the car and I had to pick up colleagues to an airport hotel and park in two tight carparks Arggggh. The camera parking thingy really helped with my blood pressure. I managed to go through 3 years before someone sat in the back of my B7. Then went to the office to take a photo of old and new together and someones RS6 was in the way. Like buses.

Dr Gav had a real laugh driving home tonight. I fear the points reaper is not far away though.
