RS6 Performance dyno run at MRC

Tomorrow morning I'm off for my centre res delete (and the other 2 empty boxes whatever they are supposed to be).
Once I'm done, if it is not too late, I will be heading over to MRC to put the car on the dyno to see what these alleged 605ps cars are actually producing. I'm not sure whether it will have reached its full potential though with only 1600 miles on the clock. A previous car I had dyno'd at about the same milage produced a much lower result than when it was done again at 11k, albeit on different dynos and probably different ambient temps so not entirely scientific.

Doug said he should be able to get me on but I have limited time as it's my little girls birthday and I'm surprising her by picking her up from school so can't hand around too long for a slot.

You will love the noise tomorrow! I've left my valves disconnected and had a good run at motorway speeds today and no drone at all. Just sounds brilliant.
Interested in the dyno results! Is it going to have a tweek in that department as well??!

No power tweaks yet. Plenty of power at the moment. Although the grip is excellent there is too much body roll for me and not sure if it is stepping out on roundabouts or whether the roll just makes it feel like that. So I'd want to try an eliminate that before adding more power. There seems to be a lack of aftermarket anti roll bars (sway bars to our American cousins) for this car. So far only found one from America. As they are the same across the board for A6 / S6 / RS6 / RS7 I expected to be more options but there isn't. And this one is listed for up to 2015 only so I don't think it will fit the facelift and also, Plush said my ARB mounting points were different to their facelift RS6 so probably won't fit anyway.

Exhaust done, big improvement!

Now on the rollers.
Unfortunately they closed the shutters so not much video.

Pretty much.

3 runs:
605.5
611.6
608.2

Peak torque 888Nm

So the PE only really has about 25ps more than non PE.

Yeah but it has blue stitching too.

Glad to see that it is as good as the manual says - torque is HUGE. And your car is sub 2000 miles - my B8 changed from mental to insane around 7500 miles - so I guess another run around then maybe worth it.

Yeah I probably do another run at about 10k to see if it has gone up or down.

:drink: I was well off. At least it makes what Audi claims and a little more :P

what do the standard RS6 torque figures come out as on the rollers?

Not sure what the normal ones actually make. To be fair the other w runs were both in the mid 770s. Mayne the overboost caught it on the middle run.
Also he kept clearing the fault codes for the exhaust flaps and that was making a difference of a peak then a dip.

Mike top work and great to see the power confirmed.

Ps I like that the gas meter box at MRC looks crp in the photo. Shirley it needs a wrap and some spacers.
