I cant decide on colour.

Hi Guys. I need some help in deciding what colour to go for on the RS6.
I have my heart set on Nogaro Blue, but as i am looking in the used car market its very hard to find one. (Can any owners post some pictures of theirs up please, so i can see what it is like day to day)
Alternatively i have considered the Nardo grey as there are more of them around but i dont get the same buzz looking at it.
I dont want to go for Sepang Blue or Black as 2 of my friends have it in those colours.
Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

Nogaro is an exclusive colour, so there are going to be very limited numbers sold in the UK, let alone available second hand. Nardo is off the standard palette.

Probably a bit early for many nogaro cars 2nd hand; depends how long you want to wait but I'm fairly sure as more reach 3 years old there will be more on the market, but as doodle said, there are probably only a handful of them in the country anyway.
Have you considered a wrap? There are some very nice blues available now in wraps, and some companies that are very good at wrapping cars. If you can find the ideal car but it's the wrong colour then this might be an option.

I like the stealthy dark blue/navy colours, I'll probably go for something like that next time. But the greys are good too. Maybe go exclusive and get one in a darker shade of solid grey?

By the time my Nogaro Arrives I will have been waiting for 7+ish months.
The Exclusive colours wait for scheduling by Audi, you know so they can change the paint in the machines etc etc, so you will wait until it is Nogaro Day. Which is build week 15 (NEXT WEEK!!! Yay)
You will have missed this one so now you'll be waiting for the next slot. However the dealer should be able to tell you when you order it, maybe just maybe - they've painted a few more RS6's Noggy blue whilst this run is on, and therefore a few unallocated/dealer cars are on the way in noggy. And will be here in about 6 weeks.

I think you are right. It may be a bit early. I missed out on one that came up 6 months ago, i called just as it had been sold. I have looked at getting it wrapped, i have done so in the past with my previous cars, but in this case i want the original Nogaro. Plus you cant get aa Nogaro colour match in vinyl.
Your car is a beauty, do you have any more pictures of it?

I would love to be able to buy one brand new but unfortunately im not in a lucky enough position to do so. I think im going to have to keep looking and praying that someone decides to get rid of theirs sooner rather than later.

Fair enough - or infact stupid enough to buy new.... like myself. I swear this'll be my last brand new car........
There's a few Nogaro's out there, prices will be stronger (I would have thought) than std colours.

Thanks Boff you've answered a question I had about what the wait time is between build week and delivery. I heard my Sepang PE went into build last week but dealer being a bit coy about delivery dates. What amazing patience -7 months would kill me.
I don't have a photo but saw an R8 in Ara blue at Stirling Audi which looked really good.

Thanks. I have more of the same i.e. the photos you've seen but slightly different angles.
I gave it a good clean on saturday but it was dark by the time I finished it. I tried to take a photo but you can't see too much.
When I got up the next morning it was covered in rain. Later that day I used my water filter to rinse off the rain water. Then it started raining again. I don't know why I bother!

Takes a week to make it, then it COULD go into QC, which could be as long as it takes, then with german efficiency it gets on a train to a port, where it then hits what could be described as disorganised chaos. There are 4 or 6 different shipping companies involved delivering to 4 ports in the UK (Can someone keep me real on those stats).... And then it hits the brits. Need I say more.
It's a bit mental when you think of the size of the purchase, BMW do it better, certainly for Mini - where eddie stobarts drive to Austria, collect the dealer allocation, and drive it straight there.
