Another Newbie.......

I've just ordered a RS6 Per and have been notified the vehicle will start "construction" on March 7th 2016.
Anybody got any ideas when the vehicle should be delivered, if all goes well. I was told July/Aug, how long is the usual build and delivery time?

The car goes into the panel
Shop on the Thursday before the build date (which is a Monday). On the Friday it goes into paint. Saturday and Sunday it is in Assembly. So it is actually fully built by the build date. Monday (build date) it goes into quality control. This is where things start to vary. Up to 10 days in QC is quite normal. Then transportation to dealer and dealer prep. You can expect to collect it about 4 weeks from the build date.

As Mike says 4weeks, maybe 6 max if it gets stuck at either port. But be careful, before you get your hopes up. Youraudi seems to be notoriously inaccurate in some (not all) cases.
Mine is now saying April 4th, but auk and the vehicle detail form still list bw16 - one of them isn't right !

Common as muck these £80k+ RS6 Performance Editions. Anybody else on here either not got one, or not got one on order?
