Thinking about ordering an RS6 with Exclusive Paint....my local dealer has told me that for one of the regular Audi colours which are a £1500 cost it's a one month delay, Tetbury have told me the delay is more like two or three months over and above a normal order.

Thinking of ordering Mystic Blue.

Does anyone have any experience of this ?

The delay depends on the colour, and how many other cars are being painted that same colour. As I understand it, they wait until there's enough orders to make a big batch of the paint then do them all together, but there must be cases when they just paint one car a rare colour. Mine ended up only being about 5 weeks' delay (was told new orders would be in for December and mine arrived Jan 5th), but I know a Riviera RS3 that was ordered in June and isn't even out of the factory yet. Dallas and I ordered on the same say and his was about 3 weeks behind mine iirc. All luck of the draw.

Ordered mine a week after Mikes, in Nogaro Blue Excl.

Mikes arrives this week ish, and mine not until the end of May!!

Martay, to be fair there is a long wait on all RS3s whether exclusive or not. My missus ordered July and had a build week of april but got a cancellation and ended up getting in December.

Mystic is a fantastic colour. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Boff, could it be that your car and mine will be part of the same batch? I too have a build date of the end of May. Nogaro RS6 PE

I saw the one on here that got me thinking about it and my local dealer has an RS6 in the showroom in Mystic at the moment looks fantastic! Tried taking a picture of it but doesn't do it justice. Big spec "standard" RS6 otherwise I'd be interested.
