New owner saying hi.

Post by Andy_W » Sat Jan 09, 2016 9:22 am

Just wanted to introduce myself after a few weeks of lerking!

I picked up a new RS6 just before Christmas and absolutely love it. I've always run two cars, one daily and one toy fair weather machine but the addition of a baby made me decide to be a bit more sensible for a while and go for a one car that does all approach.

I found this one after calling around the country. Spec is:
Nogaro Blue (fantastic colour)
Carbon pack
21 black wheels
Dynamic pack
Sports exhaust
Sunroof
Advanced parking pack and cameras
HUD
A few other bits I may have missed.

The performance is quite something on these. I part-xd a R8 V10 and at times I think this feels quicker.
The sound from the exhaust is good but could be a bit more I think so may change that later on. I've disconnected the valves for now which does improve it quite a bit. Also might think of lowering it slightly to improve the stance so any pointers on that welcome.

That's probably the best looking C7 out there.
Good luck

Probably I like tinkering with my cars :). I will look at exhausts but don't want to make it over loud inside but just sound amazing. Basically like the OEM sports exhaust on now but with 20% more would be ideal! I will also look at lowering slightly as long as it doesn't mess up the ride and I want to change the Audi rings to black if I can find someone to do it without breaking the grill. Then may look at remapping later on

Yeah, stunning. How do you find Noggy, day-to-day? Can it look flat in the grey, overcast winter days?

I'm considering a PE but the choice is getting Prism or Sepang soon or waiting for Noggy...

Very nice :) funnily enough looking at exactly the same tweaks as yourself re lowering and exhaust...tho the lure of MRC is strong :)

No sign of Boff on this thread yet. One assumes he's seen the pictures and is now changing his underwear, before commenting...

GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp
