RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
Hi All
Have had a note from Audi City telling me the RS6 PE is now on the system and open for orders.
Apart from that nugget I am non the wiser on specs etc, it certainly isn't on the configurator yet. I am intrigued by the new blue - I wonder how nice it will be?

sounds interesting, i wonder when it will be on the configurator then.
Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
It's on the standard spec comparison table. £86,000. Sports exhaust, privacy glass and 21" wheels standard, together with "titanium" trim that includes the front quattro in the grille. That's about £4,500 of extras making the engine upgrade £2,500 - excluding discount availability and assuming you wanted those extras, of course.

More power, speed and standard equipment
Description: RS 6 Avant performance 1.jpg
AU1017-15
The stunning, powerful new RS 6 Avant performance and RS 7 Sportback performance take the Audi Sport range to even greater heights.
Based on the current RS 6 and RS 7, the new performance models’ 4.0 TFSI V8 bi-turbo engine has an extra 45PS – bringing the output to a breathtaking 605PS. Combine this with 700Nm of torque (750Nm with overboost) and the new RS performance models can accelerate from 0-62mph in a supercar-rivalling 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than their counterparts.

It’s not just the performance that’s been enhanced: 21-inch titanium alloys, a sports exhaust and titanium exterior styling all come as standard.

The new models will open for ordering in November, with the first UK deliveries expected in February 2016. Further information including full technical details will be confirmed prior to open for ordering.

Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
Now we will have to wait and see what sort of discounts will be offered. I bet it is bugger all to start with.
Need to see what black looks like with the titanium... potentially saving thousands by not being forced to get carbon.

I'll be swapping the alu pack for the black pack; and then Audi Exclusive colour

Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
No that has alu pack, not titatium. Titanium pack is much darker.
Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
Ahh I see - ok, even I'm learning there fella - I want mine in Noggy, and was quite set on the black pack, but maybe the titanium will be better. And then there's the new blue, I dunno what that'll be like either, oh and then there's the fact you can have Matt any colour - and apparently the matt maintenance problems have all gone away.

Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
Danger.... danger - as I run a business; a bit sad, but my first thought is how much do I need to get rid off to fund that (product not shares!!), plus B8 depreciation.
Plus Wife Tax, and believe me the wife tax will be high.
I love the RS4, really do - but this thing is gonna be an absolute sledge hammer; aka Lotus Carlton - and I did always want a Lotus Carlton, sorry I did - that's it, I did!!

I did look at one of those once too!
As for the PE i think its great value , so long as you can get 14k discount.

Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
It's on the DE configurator...
http://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/neuwagen ... akete.html
Granted, the usual DE and GB packs and options do often vary, but it should give you an idea of what's available.

'15 B8 RS4 - SOLD
Re: RS6 Performance Edition is Open to Order.
10% off the base price plus the AUK finance contribution is going to be the best you'll achieve, give or take. But I can't see that level of discount being available just yet.VantageRS wrote:I did look at one of those once too!
