Now That's A Bargain!!

I thought i'd suffered some horrific depreciation over the years, but i'd need sectioning if i lost quite this much in 2yrs.
At the new R8 pre launch event 2 weeks ago the Sales Manager was showing me around a £106k C7 RS6 he quoted as being the most expensive example their Group had sold & that didn't even have Ceramics, but this is a whole other level. Looks to be pretty much every box ticked. Although i can't see the 6 going quite the same way, it's one hell of a drop.

It seems the 7s depricate more due to their less desirable looks. I don't know why Audi insist on making these fastback RSs. I bet they'd have sold a lot more RS6 salpons tjan they have RS7s. And the same probsbly with the RS5 and a B8 RS4 saloon. Hopefully they've learnt their lesson and start making RS saloons again.

Totally agree. If they confirmed the RS6 Performance Edition was going to be available in Saloon, i'd be transferring a deposit across immediately.
Fingers crossed the C8's available in Saloon form.

C6 indicated that there wasn't much of a market. I cannot see it changing now, more so with the lack of dollar.

I bet the ratio between C6 avants and saloons was a lot smaller than the ratio between C7 RS6 and RS7 though. Besides, the CS6 was not as good as the C7 which could have brought many people back to Audi who lost sales to BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.

Very likely right, but here's hoping.

C6 saloon less than 20%.
What's the story with ratio between E63 saloon and estate? I don't recall seeing a saloon!

Not sure but i've seen slightly more saloons that estates, however it's probably close to 50/50. Oddly enough for the C63 i've seen next to no wagons with most being saloons/coupes. Possibly these had better stats for the CH & Lease deals.
BMW never bothered with an estate for the F10 as the E61 had very poor sales figures & even worse residuals.

I didn't think it would be that low! However, both BMW and Merc sell lots of saloons and the C7 is begging for saloon version (too late now I know).

that RS 7 has a MK plate, so likely to be a VWG car, ergo noone ever paid that list price

Sorry for my dumb question, but what's an "MK plate"?

You'd hope nobody ever pays list price.
Don't Audi UK cars start with an O?

It's probably this one I saw at a Audi showcase event in 2013. I think all the Ali pack stuff has been wrapped.
It was up for sale some time ago on the Audi used car site and it was a lot less than £112k, I think is was around the 70k mark but that was a year or more ago.
Some ex Audi cars regs also begins with K.

The plate is KN not MK.
MK as we know is Milton Keynes which is where Audi UK are based, but KN is Maidstone.
Not sure if it was a showcase car but very possible given it's fully loaded. Hell of a bargain though & looks a nice example.
