Not necessarily RS6 specific, but I'm feeling a bit stupid about trying to figure out how to search for music stored on my iPod and need some help. At the moment I have to scroll through playlists etc. to find what I want and with a full 128GB iPod, that is a lot of stuff.
The MMI manual shows that there should be a 'Find Music' icon (as well as a few others that are missing)
but what I see when I have my iPod connected is this
Anyone got ideas as to why that is?

Re: MMI searching
might be an SD card function only (as per manual pages) rather than a feature that extends to iPods and the like. I am pretty sure I have the icon when using the SD cards as a source, but I dont bother with an external media player.
Re: MMI searching
You get the find music on SD, USB and Jukebox. It doesn't surprise me that it isn't on iPod. TBH, I think the way the MMI navigates tracks and albums is rubbish, even on SD Card, especially the way it returns you to the first album / folder / artist in the list whenever you cycle the ignition. Voice control is laughably bad, too.
Been spending a lot of time with the next generation MMI recently (as per Q7) and it makes the current MMI look like a POS. Voice control commands such as "Play album Dark Side of the Moon" just work perfectly.
