suspension arm

Hi everyone,my car is 6 months old,sensor went on the suspension nearside front,trouble is the sensor is integral to the suspension arm,so they had to replace the arm,all under warranty of course-estim cost over 800 squid !!! anyone else had this at all,oh and they gave me a Q3 for 2 days--oh boy was I glad to get back into my C7- what a car.
