Anyone lowered their RS6?

I have gone for the air suspension, 1 reason really. Comfort, my Q7 4.2tdi had air suspension and it was by far the best I have even owned in terms of comfort. The test car I drove was on air and handling was fantastic and I could not fault it in comfort mode.

Don't want to go crazy low but as I have gone for the 20" wheels I would like the lower arch filled look. 2 reasons, I love they have gone back to the retro RS wheel look and cost. not paying Audi £2k for 21". if I go 21" it wont be anything that Audi offer.

You can upgrade to the 21's for far cheaper than £2k.

Order the car with 20's, buy the 21's off ebay for between £2-£2.5k, sell the 20's as brand new for £2k or thereabouts.

You've just got the 21' upgrade for peanuts :bigblink:

Just my opinion, the RS6 doesn't look right with the 20' wheels, it needs the 21's to fill the arches properly. However, as you've said you could lower it slightly for it to look a little more menacing.

Lowering is possible by using VCDS. I think you can get up to a 17mm drop- from what I have seen not tucked but just about.

See here: http://www.audiworld.com/forums/s6-c7-p ... s-2869689/
Less(?) likely to be any warranty issues than fitting extra bits.

You can apparently go lower if you fit a module from KW and you can control it from an app on your phone (why would you want to though?!?)

Yeah that's why I would never buy factory wheels. ebay option sounds like a plan. Easy way to save £2k. I like the new style though. Retro but modern at the same time.

I have VCDS, 17mm would be more than enough to compensate for 20" wheels.

The 20's look really good in the flesh and everyone has 21's including Q's S-lines etc etc, kind of takes the exclusivity away. No-one has the new 20" design although I am sure that will change. It was like when I ordered my M5 everyone went for the big 5 spoke design. I went for the multi spoke as I really liked the looks and rare into the bargain.
