99% bought a new RS6. Test drove one today and the wind noise from the doors was just about unacceptable for an £80k car. Watching a 5th gear review Jason Plato complained about the same. Anyone else find it an issue??

When I first tested one back in 2013 I noticed the horrendous wind noise as well. It was on a RS spectacular day and after the test part of my feed back to Audi included this wind noise.
If the car you have tested was Pre face lift it will have this issue as face lifted MY15 cars now have double glazing fitted as standard and the outside window seals have been modified to cure the problem.

Get one with a Sunroof Paul & just keep that open

might be ok on the newer car, fingers crossed. its not bad just more noticeable than I was expecting. the wife's X1 is much the same maybe a bit worse but cost £40k less.

Not might be. Definitely no noise in my car. The noise was what put me off buying one in 2013 cause it was just like it in the Imprezas that i had.

It's a 64 plate demonstrater I drove, twice now. Anyway too late ordered one

64 plate could've been either.

I hope it was the old model I drove then.

i was led to believe that the double glazing and modified window seals were only from build week 2-3 of 2015. Mine being week 3 and my car was delivered 1st March. But regardless of that if you have ordered a new car then you won't have any issues cause they're all sorted now. Congrats as well.

this one definitely only had single glazing.

MY15, build started mid Dec.

I know this doodle but my main Tech guy at Audi tells me they didn't start fitting the DG as standard till week 2-3 and I was lucky cause mine was going to build week 3. Maybe stealer patter but that's what I was told.

Time will fly Paul. Especially when we've got Xmas fast approaching. Your mind will be elsewhere if it's like my household. So before you know it your beast will be here.

It's bollocks....it was part of the MY15 changes as standard spec. Can hardly sell it as standard spec and then not supply it!

Hope so. Don't think it will be standard long, it's a bit slow compared to my GTR. Still really enjoyed driving it though, the levels of grip were amazing
