Anybody know the story behind this car?:

2 owners already which may not necessarily be an issue but would be keen to hear whether it has a 'history'.

are you looking to buy?
For 3-4k more you can get a brand new one on a better apr assuming it would be bought on pcp

With the same spec? That would be interesting but having specced this up with drive the deal, they're coming out at 82k.

double check the spec as the packages arent the same on the facelift.

Drive the deal dont have the best prices on these - use orangewheels

I can guess what you mean! I have found out some more detail about it, enough to put me off. Shame as the spec (Daytona carbon pack ++) is good.

Thanks for the tip re orange wheels. I had tried broadapeed but they seem to have a limited number of Audi dealers on their books. I'm going to get the first rs4 or rs6 I come across which meets my requirements, as long as I can get a sane deal on my sq5.

What did you find out to put you off?

Looks a good spec car to me?

when i said in use i meant typical bits n bobs about the car that suggest it was used by one of their senior (would have to be on a car like this) staff members, purely speculation though.
i reckon it was moved about the dealerships as a demo or used on the RS events that they have.

Strange it wasnt offered to me as i was in there to try do a deal but they only tried selling me a new one. I now have one on order (not through them) as they couldnt / actually more like wouldnt get anywhere near the other offers i had on the table.

It was a case of we can make more money off someone else so take it or leave it. Which i have no problem with, business is business, except they had me on the phone several times trying to offer a deal and in the dealership twice - they knew from the start what offers i had, but it was a big fat waste of my time which is what i object to and i told them so.

Orangewheels were very helpful - didnt end up buying from them in the end as i would of had to travel to london so i ended up matching their deal with a dealer from carwow.
Time will tell how smooth this goes but im not to concerned.

Dribbler - i also have an SQ to get rid of at some point. Part ex values i have been getting are 32k in December (estimated RS6 delivery) currently 18k on the clock. Wewantanycar offering 35k now.

I will try a private sale as i have a 5 year warranty on mine so might help with the sale but i expect i will struggle up at this value.

I may be being a little over the top, but I was provided the info in confidence.. I'll pm you rather than posting!

Interesting, they're not always an easy bunch... Bought my s4 from them and they were suboptimal, a curious mixture of arrogance and incompetence.

I'll talk to orange wheels to see what's there.

Regarding the sq5, sat at 5500 miles. WBAC at 38250. Private would want 40+. Want and achieve may diverge though!
