MMI Navigation

Post by Lagoo » Tue Jun 02, 2015 4:38 pm

Hi Guys, bit of a lurker here but hope someone can help.

A couple of like minded petrolhead friends and i have a little Euronhoon planned and we are leaving next week. 2000miles over 4days incorporating the Andermatt Loop and culminating with a visit to the Nurbergring! :beerchug:

I have planned the routes and i am wondering whether there is a way in which i can enter the 'tour' without having to manually enter the route with all the waypoints? Is it possible?

Thanks

I have not found a way to do this. The 'Send to car' feature in Google maps only works for a single destination, not a route. The MyAudi portal seems to have the same limitation.

I accept this may be of no help given different mfctrs, but my car has a similar 'send to car' feature using Google maps & that can handle a complete route. Used it last year to drive the Evo triangle en route to a track day at Anglesey. I'd assume the functionality must be similar on the RS6.

A route is created in BMW Routes which is overlayed onto Google maps, you select the various waypoints (no idea of their is a limit) & then send the route to the car. Once in the car you go into Nav & select 'My Routes) & in their is the created route. See screenshot below.
