In Germany if you order an RS6 you get normal glazing in the front windows as standard.

There are 2 options to add double glazed glass -
1) double glazing all round (which you can't get over here)
2) double glazing front and privacy glass rear. (the privacy glass in the rear is single glazed)

Interestingly if you choose either of the double glazed options in Germany you are also forced to add Audi Phone Box. I presume they think that the double glazing interferes with the phone reception but I am not sure.

Does anyone who doesn't have Audi Phone Box get limited phone reception in their car that they have noticed ?

I had double glazing in a c6 RS6 and it affect phone reception and also garage / gate opener reception.
But what really put me off ever having double glazing again was you could hardly hear the V10 engine - so had to open a bloody window.

i definitely concur. Great on the motorway but you cant hear the bloody engine...

I had been told to keep it off the options list, from a dealer as he said they've had a few cars with it fitted but nothing but interfernce issues. Mainly as you stated to do with phone etc.
