Grrrrrrr!!! Audi finance!!

So my car is finally here and went to see it today and take my docs in to sign the finance paperwork. I decided to increase my deposit by a further £10k , so the proposal needed to be amended to show the new payment. So the fiancé guy comes out and I know that each £1k reduces your money by around £22-23 (48mths) so my payments should have gone down by around £220-230 but that's not the case!! It actually went down by around £160 ??? We couldn't work it out but it turns out that Audi has changed the balloon payment by £3500!!!! On the adjusted proposal as they've recently amended the residual values. So pee'd off took forever to get the car and now this, the fiancé manager is going to call the powers that be to see if we can revert back to the original proposal and then I'll just call up and pay £10k off. I know I'll get it back eventually when I sell the car but I was getting to a nice low monthly on which the deal was originally based. Might be something you guys who are ordering or ready to sign paperwork keep and eye out for

Big thread about this already, further down this 1st page actually
Yup, there's been a price increase and a GFV reshuffle over the last couple of months.

Yep the issue is the finance was approved and locked on the deal, but as I increased the deposit the product reverted to the new numbers. Just wanted to pay a larger deposit not agree a finance package

I'm sure they can revert you back to the old figures so you can just phone up and pay £10k off the balance.
Are you sure it only drops £22 per £1000?
£1000 / 47 = £21.27. Hardly seems worth it to put in any extra deposit? Surely you would be better to keep the £10k in your account earning interest and take £210 off the £10k balance each month and add that to your monthly payment?
I was sure for each £1000 it was around a £32 drop. I'd have to go through my quotes again

Hi Leo,
You make sense mate but T the moment I just wanted lower monthlies on the car. At 48 months it is indeed £22-23 of per £1k however I suppose it could be more if your term is less? Thanks buddy

Good news, Audi reverted back to the original quote which used the higher residual value and the lower purchase price of the car. Now I'm excited as I pick her up at 4pm today !!
