Dynamic Steering Opinions? Dealer Contribution £?

Post by dhyllan » Tue Jan 06, 2015 2:35 am

HI guys

I have an RS3 and am looking to get an RS6 on PCP.

I have been offered the standard £3K from Audi Finance and £3K from Audi Dealer. What have others managed to get from the Dealer? I have seen on here that someone got £6.5K from the dealer! I was to see how much negotiation i can do ;)

Secondly, i will be using my C7 RS6 everyday and will be taking it with my on my annual trip to the Ring and Spa every year for some fun laps, i enjoy the overall experience.

I have chosen the RS sports suspension and ditched the air ride, but im unsure on the dynamic steering. It seems from reviews it 'feels unnatural' i would like as much road feel as possible. What are peoples thoughts who havent specc'd this and enjoy some twistys. Last thing i want is forever electronically changing steering ratios.

Lastly, the parking system. Does the standard Parking System Plus give you front and rear sensors along with any visual aids? The parking aid kit seems good with the rear view camera but is the plus option worth it with all 4 cameras.

Peoples experiences would be great

Thanks
Dhyllan

I am not a fan of the dynamic steering, just doesn't feel right. One of the two options I never put into dynamic mode, one is that, the other is the suspension.

Being in HK and the tight spots, I have the front and rear sensor plus the rear camera only but good enough for me. But I guess with the extra cameras, am sure it's even better and very little chance of curbing your kicks doing parallel parking. XD

Slightly off-topic, when are you going to The Ring/Spa? Only asking as a few of us will be going in October & also playing on a new track in Belgium for a day (the name escapes me). So 2 days at Spa, one on this other track & The Ring either on the way there or back.

I'm intending on at least one further Ring Trip this year, but it will be a weekday/midweek & will tie it in with work (so i'm on the South Coast & can take the chunnel). This is about the max i'll get away with as the vacation police have booked up all my vacation days from work.
