Gearbox Fault....

So 2000 miles now on the clock and have 'Gearbox Malfunction' Currently parked up.... glad i cancelled my DMS map! Hope its all ok.

Wow, maybe gearbox malfunctions on happen on RS6es with odd number chassis types... C5, C7 - it's not looking good for the C9...

Were there any symptoms prior to the "Gearbox malfunction" message coming up? I am now at around the 2500 mile mark and posted that I had a concern that the gearbox was becoming harsh and a bit jumpy/lurchy when trying to drive it in a 30/40 limit. Had it checked out on Tuesday including a test drive (I insisted on supervising this) and the verdict was that the gearbox was ok . They also checked that all car systems were running the latest software revisions; all of them were.
