Personally I think the black alloys are a no.no

The look clean and glossy for literally 10 miles them look terrible with brake dust.

Titanium colour alloys for the win for me.

Have you poked around the HUD? I don't like the whacking great plastic thing on the dash...which will creak eventually!

My take on what's missing
ACC for easy life
Convenience pack for securing loads in the boot
Top view camera to protect those alloys.

ACC means assistance package, FYI. Agreed on parking advanced.

Yep, assistance package. The essential ACC plus two other, unwanted features pointlessly bundled in. Just like all the other selectable options. Ah well, it's only money....

Great spec!.....Top View camera is a must though IMO, its incredibly accurate for showing how far away from the kerb the alloys are when you're parking

Which parking pack do you have? Top view is exactly that.

Top View Camera is effectively 4 camera's, one at the back, one on the front and one under each wing mirror. Gives you lots of options in terms of what view you want. Very handy when reversing out of a blind driveway as you can change the view to see the road for traffic coming both ways. Also you get a Birdseye view of your cars position which is good for parking etc. It's all part of the parking advanced package which I would definitely have. Also disagree re black alloys and brake dust. I find they don't show brake dust and they are so much easier to clean than titanium ones as they are a real pain in the :assflash: . I've got HUD on mine, didn't have it in the first one and find it really good. No rattles either (yet). I'd also bin the front and rear heated seats as it is effectively just the rears for an extra £320! Was only £100 option on pre FL. ACC good but had it on the first one I had and never really used it.

Agreed on the HUD ......probably one of the most useful options, with speed limit display and actual speed next to each other on the windscreen its much easier to keep legal (s)....surprising how relaxing it is on long journeys not having to move your eyes constantly from the road to the speedo. I've had HUDs on both of my RS6's and neither of them squeaked.
ACC is another story though....had it on my last Beemer and its a nightmare to use on a crowded motorway because it allows other cars to keep sneaking in front, so I always had it turned off. On the RS6 the 2 ACC domes on the front grill really mess with the aesthetics as well. I spec'd the extra rear airbags because sometimes have the grandkids in the back seats.

Can you get the speed limit display and other things without acc. They put everything in these stupid packs should have the choice of separately or pack.

I'd bin the Panoramic Roof & spend that £1k on other goodies.

I've always been a fan of regular sunroofs & like it on my car, but we had Pano roof on the Q5 & it creaked & rattled like a bitch for the 5yrs we owned it so would never get one again. Personally i think they look fine on A3's & the like but spoil the feel of RS's (just my own personal opinion/experience).

Did you opt for upgraded stereo? That's surely a must & would be where my Pano roof money would go.

Also agree with Surround View & it is the option i most rate on my car.
