:) funny thing is Mrs D and I where happy with all our cars .. She had a Brabus Smart and a massively lovely spec Boxster 987 and me the RS6

As many know I am involved with Formula E so was looking for a Hybrid / EV so after months of discussion we decided trade in the Boxster for a Cayenne Hybrid (and then at EV events when asked what car I drive I can say .. I drive a hybrid :). We test drove and ordered a Hybrid on a Saturday in May. Monday we get called .. Porsche close order book on Cayenne hybrids until 2015. Order rejected. So as we have made decision to sell Boxster, we end up doing the Jag F type test and 981 test .. Boxster 981 wins, so we move Cayenne Hybrid order to a Boxster S, sorted we thinks, a month later we get call to finalise spec and pay full deposit. We do and day after they announce Boxster GTS. After a dozen panic calls, we get the "frozen spec" Boxster S changed to a GTS (which we got delivered 2 months ago and love) ..

so now I still have itchy feet re RS6 .. [insert all C7 RS6 problems here]

So now the order book on the new Cayenne Plug in Hybrid is now open ... and the RS6 C7 is "closed" ....

Go Porsche. Whilst they might have their moments of pissing about, it's for very different reasons. You definitely wouldn't get this <beep> from Porsche.

Mmm, not a fan, it's pricey and relatively slow.

I think it's pretty good value when you compare it to a V8 R8 and then account for how much fuel and tax saving you'd make !

Fuel saving? Wash your mouth out. It'd be like driving a washing machine.
