Audi finance came back as no. Shock have to email underwriters and see what they say next week as they say could be a problem. Fingers crossed all is well had 4 car in past 4 years Mercedes being latest thought their finance RS6 C6 and VOLVO x2. So don't see what's the problem especially with a 50% deposit not problems in the last paid on time if not paid off car in full early on C6, Wait and see what they say next week put a dampner on my weekend.

Yeah I know tell me about it. Hopefully all should be ok there's not problems as far as I'm aware Audi said it could be down to a mistake on their part. So wait and see until Monday so annoying not even a contact number to speak to etc got to email vw underwriters decisions or something or the other. Can't wait to see what they come back with.

When do they do the checks? Signed my order and the dealer set up all the figures, took my details etc and clicked submit, came back in about 10 seconds. Is that the credit checking part?

Suggest approach original dealer to get details on why "credit check failed" and then see if you can correct the error.. Applying for credit else where I believe gets more "failures" which continue to add to the bad score

G Davison. They're not helpful at all the dealer says we don't know they haven't even gave us a clue, all I can do is email the underwriters who take the piss in replying, and don't even have a number to contact only emails, really beginning to make me to give up. I know it's gonna be something daft like a paperwork for a property or something as that's what happened when I got the Mercedes GL couple months ago. But the Mercedes dealer told me instantly what the problem was went back home got paperwork same day or next showed him he said that's perfect thanks and car was ordered. When I got the V10 From Lincoln Audi they Had a in house finance guy in his own room who sorted everything at Tyneside there's nobody here I don't think, so just a waiting game and I'm getting fed up now. I can easily go to my local Merc and get a AMG but I don't want one.

I am guessing at ideas here .. can you call your bank and explain the situation and ask if they could run a credit check on you ? Other options are Experian (however I think that costs you ££)

Otherwise I guess its try another Audi dealer and see if they get the same response .. I'm no financial analyst / advisor so as said just kinda guessing at logical ideas
