After looking at plenty of options made the call and ordered a new RS6 last week. The car was already on order via Watford Audi but i was more than happy with the spec and got a good deal.. Think the build has started, expected to arrive September. Have to bring it back home to NI so it will be a great road trip... Anyway spec is...

Headlining cloth
Head-up-display

Privacy glass
21” 5-twin spoke titanium finish
Speed limit display

sounds good .. similar to what I think I will go with , except I'll be dropping the "assists" ..
also colour .. sadly I was after ibis white which is no longer available .. so will probably go Sepang blue and silver interior like my old C6

Sure I had an e-mail to say Sepang had been discontinued, too. Don't take my word on it. Rings a bell, though...

To some ceramics are a must but really with what I've heard first hand from a couple people with them. 1 being varsity who has had first hand experience another a friend who's not on the forum but lives in Lincoln had problems straight away after 2 days. So yeah they are good and if u want them then obviously you will go ahead but make sure you are gonna need use them IMHO not needed in most cases standard brakes beat a Nissan GTR in a braking test that will do me. Just my 2ps worth for me they look great and a great track brake but for everyday just a waste really.

This is curious. it appeared on the June brochure revision, then disappeared again. But it is still on the configurator. I've not been told I can't have it as a standard option.

I hope its not been dropped as otherwise colour choices currently are a little limited
Nardo Grey
Panther Black
Prism Silver
Daytona Grey + Daytona Grey Matt
Misano Red
Phantom Black
So if no Sepang thats 6 shades of grey thru black (with no white) and a red

Bad news. Sepang dropped, also dropped on S5 sportback. There are six UK cars which are being built in Sepang as a standard colour, thankfully I'm one of those.

Depends. They apparently dropped some colours because they couldn't get colour matching right. If its for the same reason they introduced and then quickly dropped sepang, then who knows.
Having had a nightmare before trying to get a pearl yellow colour matched, Im not surprised manufacturers are taking the easy route.
Mind you, with these water based paints they are forced to use these days Ive never seen a fuel filler cap that matches yet, in any colour other than flat white.

Sepang is standard fair and still available elsewhere in the range, so it's not a paint issue.

Aye, must've been lucky.
Agreed, the pallet is rubbish.
There's a Sepang car for Sept delivery advertised on Autocar, might be worth a chat.
