Hi there guys as stated most of you must have seen some RS6 have them some dont ?. In bottom grilles what seem to be fog lights as far as i know some dont have them as they have the full led lights is that correct or do they have some other purpose.

They aren't fog lights, they are housings for various items such as cameras and detectors for adaptive cruise, speed limit camera, lane control system and night vision etc.

If you have got the All LED headlights you have all weather lights feature, it turns off the LED's going up the outside and switches on some along the inner side of the headlamp to aim at corners, so basically they are your fog lights.

Hmmmm well I'm going all led and top view camera hope mine doesn't come with them hahaha don't like em.

No rs6 has foglights in the bottom grill

If that's all you've added by way of items that use sensors in the front I don't think you will get the domes in the grill.

As Chesterfield said, you only get the balls when buying the acc etc.

Sweet yeah just added top view camera speed limit assist, and active lane most likely that's it for sensor things. And yeah cheers for clearing that up for me guys

If you've added speed limit assist and lane assist, you are getting the domes.

Hmmm. Thanks for that chesterfield might have to leave it will look into it then decide speed limit is pretty handy to have, active lane assist is nice also but not essential i can't beleive I'm so fussy just over some domes hahahaah. Just like the bottom grilles without them looks meaner got a friend who's car is specced pretty much to the nines he hasn't got them so will check cheers for the help guys with my dome obsession

I might be wrong but I only think you get the "domes" if you have ordered adaptive cruise control. The lane assist sensors are in the back bumper of the car and the speed limit thingy I think runs from the Sat Nav. The top view has four camera's, one on each wing mirror, the rear just above the number plate and the front is just below the Audi badge.

Speed limit assist has a camera I believe, but reverts to sat nav/gps based if it cannot see a speed limit sign on the road. Thats my understanding anyway.

Apologies, I was thinking of side assist not lane assist But I think the camera for the side assist and speed limit display is in the windscreen with the light/rain sensor etc. so hopefully still no "domes"

As Ive specced everything bar night vision in terms of the assists on mine, I'll certainly be getting the domes!

Yes, I'm also "Dome" friendly to, I don't mind them. Now night vision I do not have but after seeing it on another car after I took delivery of mine I wish I had
