1st test drive

Post by johnny11 » Tue Sep 24, 2013 10:39 pm

Had a car all afternoon today and maybe I was expecting more!!
I still have a standard saloon c5 rs6 so of course the c7 is a great improvement.
Firstly the car I had hardly any options only had twin plane glass as a option, so it wasn't the best demo car.
The biggest disappointment was the noise or lack of, you really had to get the revs up to 4500 before a great soundtrack was produced and then it popes and farted into the next gear. Ok yes it is very quick, feels solid and has a lot of presence, but for some reason this did not tick all the boxes.

I am with you on the C5. C7 was good to drive, bigger and better than the C6 .. Well it could not be worse !
