I drove the new RS6 on Thursday morning in Estoril Blue. The front of the vehicle was notably different to the other C7 vehicles, with slightly pronounced extensions on the lower sills. Posure being a word that came to mind. The car has evolved from the C6 & was refined, comfortable & again, many enhancements for the different ways that items relating to driving the car can be electrically changed. The diamond shape seating material was very comfortable, cabin spacious and overall a beautifully appointed cabin.

The engine was a sheer delight. Very responsive, great delivery & makes the driver realise that they are driving a truly well engineered car.
Fast, furious, fun & I felt noticeably more engaging than the C6. The standard coil springs drove over bumpy lanes very well.

It is a large car, but in this sector, it is about the correct size, or thereabouts. I've evolved from driving the C5 which is a fraction larger than the current A4. Older designs seem to have a better understanding of optimising space.

I won't be buying an RS6. My two dogs and I don't need a car of this size. But is a great car, and good things cost money.
