I've still not heard anything, but dropped the dealer a mail today as they've sent me the brochure to try and tempt me
Must admit, it looks stunning in the brochure press shots

Got my car booked in to a dealer next week for a service and they've just sent me the C7 brochure. Nice, not hardback like the C5 and C6 ones though... Unless there are two types.

Even though you've just taken delivery of an RS4!

Yes, but a year isn't a massive amount of time, so moving into an RS6 early 2014 isn't out the question

Picked up a brochure yesterday.
Will definitely get into one, but not new. I cannot bring myself to be bummed by the immediate loss.

Oh, I was told yesterday there would be a driving day. How you get on it is another matter.

For the RS4 day, it was on recommendation by dealers and also a list of B7 RS4 owners compiled by Audi uk (mainly facilitated by the goodward competition applicants)
Speak with your dealer had see if they can get you on

That won't be a problem. I appear to be on Audi UK's happy list at the moment anyway.
I expect the target audience to be smaller though given that they are likely to sell fewer.

Just spoke to my dealer - they are still waiting to hear the details of the driver day and have not been told when they will get a demo car either.
Apparently, circa 200 have been put on order in the UK and unless you go for one of the 14 build slots that can still be tweaked that are still available then you're looking at delivery next year. The 14 left at scheduled for week 46-48 (so nov/dec).
First cars due September.
Lastly, I was told the dealer contribution is currently set at £5k for the rs6 if you go with VAG finance.

Ouch - effectively £5k off before any have been test driven let alone delivered - and before negotiating.
I would also think a lot of that early order book is dealers specing for their showroom, if those don't sell in the 60 days stocking period there may be some good deals to be had.
Saw loads of them at Le Mans as the circuit cars, they do look great and I'm already resigned to the fact I will own one...
