While its predecessor featured a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 borrowed from the Gallardo, the new RS6 gets a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine.

The RS6 soundtrack not as spine tingling as the V10. I'm expecting this to be one of the best sounding RS6 so far. RS6 V10 sounds amazing outside but refined inside the cabin.

very nice - i did enquire at my local dealership but was told they didnt have all the details to spec the car up yet - have you sorted all the options on your car out yet?

Also, didnt realise the middle seat in the back was replaced with cup holders?! or is that part of an option. Just seems strange that the Avant is reduced to being a 4 seater.

Think I'll drive one before I hand over any wonga. Not like there is going to be a queue around the block.

Could do with another jolly at Millbrook to convince me!

Autocar not overly +ve.

Very fast but lousy dynamic steering renders car not that enjoyable to drive.

And ride firm on optional sports suspension fitted to all the test cars.

Why did Audi fit Dynamic Steering to all the test cars when panned by UK Press on RS4?

And fitting optional Sports Suspension on all cars equally crazy
