Not my GT3 RS and it is a much more vibrant colour in real life than it appears in this shot.

Liked the photo DragonRR, but with a short Reg you might try cutting down the number plate at either end (Dremel is good for this) and leaving the black gloss base plate visible, but you might agree that a little carbon wrap improves the look no end?Image
Don't do this. Unless you've removing the longer plate holder.
Why not Martay? It certainly improved the look without the blue EU/GB band.

It just doesn't look good, the long plate holder sticking out the sides. It makes it look like you bought the wrong size plate. No holder and short plates looks good, like on the back of an RS6. Or you could get a shortened holder too.

Just get rid of the front plate altogether.

Indeed. And this is a good place to mention that both plates are photoshopped (so they are fake), I hate blank plates :)

I have black bits sticking out either side - not got round to sorting it, will do when front end comes off for some gloss black work. It does look fine on the road but a bit annoying when it's parked

I have a shortened rear plate holder (easy to sort), but a shorter front one means a whole new grill.

The front plate holder is separate from the grille. Remove no plate. Then there's two screws in recesses that hold plate to grille.

Funny how attitudes change over time, this is an old post I happen to come across....owners (not all but some) of the B7 are switching to B8's. They teport that its a "complete car" and now V8 NA's are obsolete in the Audi line up! Future classic

You are 100% right Eddie. I removed had previously removed the 2 fixing screws, but thought it was still part of the front grill. I just had to pull it harder and off it came. It looks better still now, thanks.
