Shame on you, Rs6 nice car, keep in mind that you will be demolished by a Rs6 from a stand still with your other choice
Shame on you, clearly a tad too much of a fanboi. Yes the C7 RS6 is a great car, but thinking one's better than the Panamera Turbo is a tad optimistic at the very least. As for performance, it's safe to say the RS6 has 0 chance of demolishing the Panamera.

Did we watch the same video as other than the slightly improved noise in the RS, they appear to prefer the Panamera, even saying it's the better engine & gearbox in the Porsche & the interior is many generations ahead. They even say the Porsche has better on rad performance, the word exceptional is used & the Porsche again has the dynamic edge.

Lastly it also won the drag race with an 11.4 vs. 11.8 so i'm confused as to what in this video is giving the win to the RS? Also worth noting that the Pan Turbo S is the performance equivalent of the RS7 Performance so with the lower model winning, the equivalent model can only be better/quicker.

I must admit, I am not really bothered about .2 or .3 of a second here or there, I can safetly say I wouldnt notice it, nor use that diferance performance.
All I can say is I am loving the extra comfort, build quality and technical features of the Panamera over the RS6. whilst I would not hesitate to recommend the RS6 as it is a brilliant car, for my own needs the Panamera is a couple of notches better.
They are both fantastic cars.

Don't blame you, they're stunning vehicles with the new model raising the game in every dept. & of course it's a Porsche which itself no doubt adds to the overall experience.

Still thinking i maybe should have taken a closer look before buying the FFRR, but will see how the next few months go & maybe this could be a contender to fill the gap before a 911 TS.

Porsche wins - and would be my choice too - but closer battle than expected. That was my point. I wasn't trying to bend the space time continuum / facts.

No probs Mark, thought i'd misread something or watched the wrong link.

I was kind of inferring (initially) to someone else's post where they stated the RS6 would destroy the Pan Turbo & that was never going to be the case, no matter how much we like or how good the C7 RS6 is. I do however feel the gap will widen further when the RS6 PE is pitted against the Turbo S which is its more equal statistically.

Was never a fan of the 1st Gen Panamera, but the new one appears to have answered all that was wrong with the first model. Still not a thing of absolute beauty, but markedly better than Gen 1 & if the reports are all to be believed, it's one hell of a car.

I do like my head up display and find it very useful and helpful on track when you really need to keep your eyes on the road. Having been invited to the local stealer's launch of their Panamera Turbo/TurboS, I noticed there is no room on the dash infront of the steering column for one. I enquired and it isn't an option that can be requested, unfortunately. I agree with some motoring journalists that that's a bit of "glaring omission".

Interesting innit. I've never had one and have no desire to have one. It's an abomination of a thing on the A6. Clearly no one was that bothered....the PH bloke didn't mention it in his review.

Doesn't seem to bother Lewis Hamilton and co either!

+1 for head up display, very useful and very safe, no need to make your eyes look down to speedometer, always watch the road
