viewtopic.php?f=76&t=132403

Nice car BTW

Regards,
Lig.

Bud would I be right in saying that I could take a hairdryer to the badges peel them off and then swap them over?

Cheers I like the colour of yours. Very unique 👌🏼

Yeah thats right. If you buy the ones from eBay in the link, then they come as loose self adhesive letters, you can then just heat yours up to help removal, remove just the letters and then stick the new ones on.

You will see that the new ones are slightly larger and the red cube is larger than the backing plate, but I think it looks fine....

I have actually just seen that there is someone selling a very similar to OEM badge on eBay now, which wasn't around before but I think this will mean you will have to remove your OEM entire badge which I think is difficult and may be a grill off job...

So here are the ones that I bought (and then coated with clear gloss top coat):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-RS6-Gr ... 2749.l2649

And here is the new badge, BUT my guess would be that this comes as a complete badge and not with the characters separate...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-RS6-Glo ... SwYUpdtf5A

Take your pick!

Cheers,
Lig.

Mate those are the 2 that I mentioned in a post I started asking about the emblem removal 😂

Messaged both sellers and both said the would fit... The seller in your first link asked for pic of my grill, then said it would fit. Second seller in your link said it should fit but if it doesn't I can return it.
So went with the one in your second link.

I'm hoping it does fit and I won't need to return it.

Ok. Let us all know.

I think the second link will require the removal of your existing complete badge, but the first just the removal of the characters...

But wait and see how it arrives...

Well guys,

Update on the badge situation... Badge arrived and I have to say it looks like it is genuine, from the colour to the letter sizing.

However; and I don't know if this is a flaw with the rear or front badge. The red on the front badge is the same brightness as the OEM badge, were the rear is darker.

On another note, the badge seems to be the same as the OEM on the car. Just need to get the fingers or something in behind to unclip it
