Laser lights on the MY15 facelift? Seems unlikely. The RS7 has already been announced and that only has matrix lights. I can't see Lasers on the A6 until the new model, which - in RS terms - is 4 years or so away.

Don't see how they can't allow it to be paid off in the cooling down period. Plenty have done it. Don't believe what the dealer tells you....make sure you see it in writing.

There's a video on the laser lights, it's not destined for mass market, too expensive. LED is where it's at.

I agree an RS7 type facelift is most likely. Family parts...

That was the same for me, however of the two cars they were showing in group, one sold the same day I placed my order and the other is apparently sorn.

Discount I managed was just over 11%, took out their finance deal for that and its the first time I've financed a car, but crunching the numbers and looking at taking that chunk of cash and investing elsewhere, I'm confident I can outperform the 4.7% Apr.

Would just dearly like to bottom out this suspension issue.

The facelift is worrying as I like to have the "latest". Could I wait until next April/may, yes. Do I want to? No. Plus the deals will likely not be as good and the overall cost would therefore be unjustifiably higher for what will probably be a few tweaks of styling and a few gadgets.

Plus its almost another year of running round in the now out of warranty range Rooney just waiting for the air suspension on that to tug at my wallet if it goes wrong.

Edit: though looking at the facelift on the A7, its not that much of a concern. I actually much prefer the current look of the front end. The straight lines of the lights don't look right to me on the facelift.

In that scenario, you'd only be ordering in April/May....

Agree re finance, no brainer at the current offer/rate.

Anyone know if an S7 with dynamic would compare ton the ride in an RS6 with dynamic?

Im getting a test of the RS6 today but it is on air. They don't have a dynamic to compare back to back, but do have an S7 on dynamic if that is any indication of ride I can expect from an RS6 on dynamic?

Test drove the car with air, and I'm impressed. If comfort on dynamic is anything like dynamic on the air for ironing out bumps then it will be more than acceptable.

I did a launch and some twisty bits, and if anything it could do with being stiffer, so for that reason I'll stick with dynamic.

In all honesty, the RS6 on air, on 21's, in dynamic mode had a ride barely distinguishable from my range rover sport on its winter 19's. Which came as a surprise. So I could cope with the ride a bit firmer on the RS6 no problem.

Im quite confident that the dynamic will be just fine. I'll probably invest in some 20 inch rims and higher profile tyres for the winter anyway, which is when the roads are at their worst.

Now just need the lead time to hurry up and be done with so I can get out and play!! The wife interjected with a "I don't think so" cough when I half jokingly made the suggestion of having the second hand one on some sort of guaranteed buy back. during the wait.

Wouldnt be anything daft a a1 a3 a4 if anything not needed but just a thought.

Is that for a RS6 ? hmmmm completely your choice but i would say listen to the mrs for once . As 8 grand in 3 months is a lot of money to lose also once waiting your gonna be more excited and the car will be even more special than if you were to have 1 for 3 months kinda thing. If you understand where im coming from but if it was me just wait or if you do want a car in the meantime dont get a 6 get something else as will ruin the buzz. :beerchug:

Quite right. There's no way I'll be taking up that buy back deal (yes it was an RS6). Mainly for the reasons you state. I've got the extended test drive still booked for later this month, and that one should be dynamic. That's enough to keep me entertained while I wait. :)

The finance deal has got a lock in clause and stands until 31st March next year if you agree a vehicle prior to end Sept this year and yes you can pay the finance off within the cooling off period - they charge something like £4.50 per day during the first 14 days and then normal interest thereafter. I know as I did it and even paid the car off prior to picking it up

The new RS6 that arrives later this month and is due to be picked up on 1st Sept is also on finance and that will also be paid off either just prior or just after pick up so that will be 2 new cars on finance in 2014, one in March and one in Sept and hopefully both paid off within a week :jump:
"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.
