I have seen it beat by a Porsche Panamera Turbo, BMW M5 and Jaguar F type R AWD. Not to mention the GTR which left it.
M5 is a monster engine. I hate to say it but miles better then the Audi until. hopefully tuning the audi will change that.
Very difficult to compare the 2 cars as one you can pretty much point & squirt over & over again, but the other would take a some thought to get it off the line in a battle.
The obvious advantage for the M5 is its real world power/torque as this will apples vs apples be higher due to much lower transmission losses, however that can undo itself very easily with a botched launch which in this kind of weather is further amplified.
What is also interesting is the similarity in engine power/torque when tuned, as reading above what MRC are achieving with the C7 RS6 for Stage 1/2 it's almost bang on the money what the F10 M5 is achieving.
Totally agree with Leo that when rolling at higher speeds the M5 will really start to show it's advantage, however that may only end up being pulling the RS6 in if the M5 didn't launch well & you'd of course need a very long stretch of tarmac.
