Sorry to go off topic guys but quick question. Now that the speed limit display is only in conjunction with HUD or assistance pack if you don't opt for either of these. Surely the sat nav has a built in speed limit type thing for roads Etc seen on older cars but not too sure ? If anyone can let me know on this Would be great thanks.

Yes, I believe the nav will show the speed limit based upon its data.

The extra uses a camera to relay physical signage.

Had a pre-facelift one for the day yesterday, completely sold on it so just pulled the trigger on ordering one...

Spec as is customary :-

Panther Crystal Black with black leather / grey stitching
Advanced key + hands free book
Assistance Package
Audi connect plus phone box
Convenience package
Heated front / rears
Panoramic sunroof
Parking package advanced
Privacy glass
Rear side airbags
Speed limit display
Sports exhaust
5 year warranty

Build week 9 so expecting April

Waiting for Audi UK to come back on the missing Homelink option, hoping this is an oversight by Audi at the moment.

Cheers,

Phil

Any insight to why? I've ordered it on the last 3 Audi's I've bought and find it incredibly useful. Don't really want to go back to fumbling for key fobs.

Presumably low take up. Dropped on other models too.

The different number of manufacturers and different types of codes/frequencies that gates and doors operate on means that home link is now working with an increasingly reduced section of the range.

There are some remotes now available that sit in the cigarette lighter socket and look very neat. Available with multiple buttons too for separate gates/garage doors.

So you've got confirmed build? April sounds about right given the build dates early 2015.
