So Im presuming messing around with the exhaust does not affect warranty, and removing secondary cats won't throw up any codes etc?
I'm having the exact same mod done in mine Tuesday and just down the road near Newbury so come and have a listen once you have it if you like..

Grrrrr! I'm not booked in until Friday!

I should have gone and had it done yesterday morning but the flaming kids wasted my day with their grumpy moods.

Andy, so you're having secondary cats and central resonators removed? Is yours the standard or sports exhaust? where are you having it done? How much is it costing?

Yes secondary Cats and centre muffler and I have the factory OEM Sports exhaust. Hoping it sounds good! £250 from a guy in Newbury who has done a few similar cars recently. In theory it should sound similar to a Milltek non res or Capistro. If I don't like it I will put it back to stock and then get a Akra system but for the cost its worth trying.

That is going to sound nuts. You simply won't be able to get more smiles for £250*

I spoke to Audi today who seemed to think only the sport exhaust is valved, and the non sport exhaust is not. Is this correct? I was under impression both were valved...
