Yeah it's a 1.5k option when ordering the car. It'll be even more if you buy them from audi to retrofit. Little devil can get genuine ones on here for about 1500euros so much cheaper.
You can buy the genuine plastic covers that have been carbon skinned for anywhere between £250-£600 on ebay and elsewhere which are a good option as they will fit perfectly (given they are actual geuine plastic covers underneath).
I saw a new genuine set on ebay the other day for about £500. I nearly bought them just in case I ever changed my trim to carbon.

I went the LittleDevil route.

Only wanted mirriors in carbon as they are the most noticeable carbon part on the car, and to be honest the full carbon package was just too much.

I go passed this every day but I've not had a chance to pop in and see what colour it was. I thought it looked like Avus, but it could be a trick of the light.
