ive moved from a F10 M5 to a RS6, the M5 is definitely more of a drivers car and your feel like your driving it, the RS6 is also a great car but you feel its driving you!. I love both cars the only reason I got the RS6 was because BMW don't build a fast estate!. The RS6 has some really good points its got so much street presence, a huge boot and you can get the power down without having to worry about the rear end sliding all over the place, if you get the sport exhaust it also sounds much better then the M5 from the factory. I had my M5 re mapped changed the exhaust so it felt much more quicker and nimble then the RS6, however saying that I am due to get the RS6 re mapped at some point and from what I have read it will be a monster. All in all I don't regret buying the RS6 it suits my current needs....... however if BMW had made a F11 M5 estate......then it would be a very close call. - The way it looks
- The interior is the best in class, by far.
- The size of it for the kids and the luggage space
- Its rapid
Things I like about the M5:
- I love the matt Silver with the Silverstone Leather interior. Looks nice in this colour
- The apparently lower maintenance costs
- I already have a BMW E30 M3 and therefore like the BMW's already
- Its also rapid
What you recon? Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations, advice on cost of ownership compared to the RS6.

So ppl who buy brand new car maybe they are safe with warranty, but in my case I am buying used 3 years old 2013 car.

Did you have the standard 19" wheels or the 20" option wheels? I didn't bother with the bigger wheels & to be honest suffer very little by way of traction issues, even with a Stage 2 tune. That's not to say the car never has a wiggle, but i hear from others that a significant difference is the 20" wheels offering much worse traction than the 19's.
