Out of interest where have you gathered the data?
Can't quibble over a grand when you're coughing up the best part of 90!
Must have options
Re: Must have options
From memory, the difference is about 3.5kg per wheel/tyre. I have a thread somewhere of the 20 vs 21 wheel weights.
But yes, 13-14kg less unsprung weight is a good saving. The 21's are a £2k option also

Here is one of our own showing the difference:

And when I was ordering my car I questioned Audi re CO2 difference (I need under 225 for my business parking permit - long story). And they confirmed CO2 on "forged 20s". But what does Audi UK know (they get plenty else wrong)? So can't vouch personally for that - they do feel ridiculously light for such a huge wheel though.

Yes, sorry posts crossed, the question was aimed at markp. I assume he's saying 13kg all four corners.Leo-RS wrote:From memory, the difference is about 3.5kg per wheel/tyre. I have a thread somewhere of the 20 vs 21 wheel weights.

Re: Must have options
Yep. All four. As opposed to 20kg for ceramics.
Re: Must have options

Do the ceramics fit under the 20's or are the 21's a must for the ceramics?

Pretty sure they will fit under 20s.
