Agree nice to hear of someone going to a dealer, a quick test drive then fortunately leaving with a fantastic car.

After seeing this post and after my order debacle, I started looking at the classifieds again...

Have purchased the following RS6 from Bedford Audi, great guys to deal with and hopefully collecting before the release date...

Looks stunning. I'm assuming by the fact it says available in December that it's Bedford Audi's demonstrator or the DP's car for a few months?

Are you having to wait until Dec or collecting it now (ish)? Also & purely being critical of the dealer, were they really expecting to get £90k for a 6mth old C7 RS6?

Demos cannot be sold before 90days old....given it's impossible to order a car let alone take delivery of one, allied to the exclusive spec and carbon exterior, the dealer can ask the world for the car

It's the DP's car and doubles as a demo. I did not pay the asking price for the car, had a really good negotiation with the dealer and all aspects of the purchase.

I'm very happy with the price I achieved, both on the new vehicle, trading in my 3.0TDI A6 Avant and finance aspect.

The spec is extremely close to the one I ordered back in March, the colour, well I was blown away by it, but of course never mentioned that during the buying process To be serious, Bedford Audi guys, simple and straight forward to deal with.

Delivery will (hopefully) be early next month...

I knew that (regarding the 90 days) which was why i questioned the price as £90k for what would be a 6mth old C7 RS6 with 5k miles. Unless i'm missing options on the car in question, it's an £80-85k list price car now so the dealer is forward pricing it as a used demonstrator at £5-10k above list price for a new one? Please excuse me however if i'm way off with this pricing as not well up on the costs of C7 options. If this is a £110k C7 RS6 list then the £90k is far more acceptable (still a bit rich though).

Didn't think that happened nowadays (in the real world). More so on a car that's hardly a new model & i'd be even more shocked if they're taking advantage of their own manufactured ordering debacle on these cars over the last few weeks.

Sepang with carbon pack is impossibly rare, I have to say it looks staggering, although I agree for that price you'd expect ceramics

I've seen the full spec sheet and the "on the road" cost is 93,375 'ish (from memory). Once I've secured the car, I'll let you know the deal details so those who are "negotiating" know exactly which buttons to press on your dealers.

Again from memory, the spec of the car is as follows:
Sepang Blue (special order as it wasn't standard at the time)
Standard Air Suspension (i.e. the Dynamic pack was not ordered)
Carbon Styling package
The wheels - PQ4
Sports exhaust system
Panoramic sunroof
Heated front & rear seats
Privacy glass
Phone prep with Audi connect
Rear view camera
Adaptive cruise control
All LED Headlights with high beam assist Carbon wing mirrors

Cool, your car is a higher list price than i'd envisaged so the dealer although extremely greedy is not an out & out villain

Will be a stunning car so please do go mad with the piccies when you pick her up. Did you say when you're expecting to collect?
