What did you do Mike?

I'm in a quandary I don't want the full on noise Ike I did with my C6, but would prefer a few more decibels when accelerating and when the car is idling - at present it is almost silent. Plan to do the exhaust flap mod this week.

Exhaust valves disconnected then cut out the front and centre resonators.

The boxes removed only affect noise not emissions so no worries with MOT which is still over 2 years away.

Hard to quantify really. It is noticably louder. You can definitaley hear the difference. Probably not quite as loud as the milltek.

Also I've never heard it drive part and with double glazing it can be hard to hear inside the car. But once modified you can defo hear it inside the car and over the stereo at moderate volumes. For the price it's worth trying unless you want a real hooligan car.

Inspection is for emissions. I haven't affected emissions only noise. I still have all catalytic converters. Not sure about inspections in other countries but ok in the UK.

The quality and fit is amazing. Very nicely finished, fitting kit even includes copper grease for the bolts and thread lock etc. Just had a short drive home but the sound is amazing. Compared to the custom centre section delete I had on the tone is much higher pitched and smoother. More like a Italian V8 sound than a old school muscle car. It's loud with the valves open without being obnoxious. The pops and bangs are a little less than before as well. Very pleased as I think it suits the car well and love the sound
I am dangerously swaying towards one of these.........
