Insulated glass is now standard.

DP+ is up 825 to 11.5k!

Swings and roundabouts as you say. Though some things have gone altogether. Homelink, and TV as already mentioned.

Well, that's the point I guess, however it was nice to press the button as opposed to having to rummage for a fob.

Also changed (from my ticked options):
Load fixing now only available as part of a "convenience pack" at £625 (I only wanted the load fixing kit at £160 previously)
Top-view camera now has to have the pointless parking facility bundled with it, lifting it from £900 to £1310
Heated steering wheel no longer available (I hate flat-bottomed wheels so was happy to pay for heated wheel just to have something round)
Night vision up from £1510 to £1750, which is too rich for me for a side-show toy, so that one's being struck off the list. Probably would have never used it, anyway.

I've had digital TV on the range Rooney for the last three and a half years. I've used it twice. Once just because I could. The second time to watch a bit of the grand Prix while I had a coffee.

For the last year or so I've had it set up as if its in the US so it doesn't pick up a signal at all because some changes to the broadcasting made it knock sound off every minute or so for a few seconds (fixed with a software update I think now).

It could have stopped working 18 months ago for all I know. You aren't missing anything not having TV. Plus, I'm sure somebody will be able to retrofit it in time if you were desperate for it.

Thanks for the brochure :)

Any reference to the insulated glass as standard? Can't find it in the brochure at all?

Also, does anyone have any opinions on the matt aluminium vs black pack on a Daytona grey?

I'm thinking with the gloss black wheel option, the gloss black option on the outside would complete the stealth look? Seeing the matt aluminium first hand on a Daytona grey its not as obvious as on other colours, though I think the gloss black hides the blades in the lower outer grills/intakes so gives the appearance of larger intakes and a more aggressive look from a distance...

Arrggghhhh - after all this time its come down to something daft like this! And I thought picking dynamic or air was tricky!

There appears to be some gaps in basic spec listing, Keyless go is also missing from the list, but has always been standard. The PI doc for A6/S6 has a more thorough listing of standard A6 kit, to include insulating glass.

Ah yes. There it is. Acoustic glass for windscreen and front windows. Standard on all.

Now I'm going over the whole air or dynamic debate again. FFS.

I'm on the fence over Advanced Key. I like the walk up, especially with child/paraphernalia. However with keyless go standard and vultures circling over theft I'm not so sure.

cant believe its not possible to spec the gloss black trim pack with the two black paint options!?

for my order the options overall, for a like-for-like (which is pretty close to be fair), raises the cost by £1,620. biggest hike is the Dynamic Plus Pack at £750.

Im wanting to know whether the jump from 20" standard rims to 21" rims changes the CO2 output to back above the 225 threshold. As it stands, on standard rims its £200 a year less tax and £200 less on the showroom tax too.

As of September, any changes in output by the addition of factory option wheels need to be accounted for on the V5. If the wheels push it back above the 225 limit into the higher tax bracket, Ill order with standard and then buy the others aftermarket to make the standard rims the winter wheels.
