RS6 C7 Order UK status - please add

A few days ago I wrote a very long email to André Konsbrück expressing my complete disappointment re this whole affair, His PA responded and promised some one would call me within 48 hours. Just spoke to ones of his "Executive Case Manager's" from Milton Keynes

First the "good news" : He "corrected" some of the above as he clearly stated to me "RS6 book is now open, build slots will start in week 49 and as such delivery should be Mid Feb". I pointed him at the press release as it differed from his more detailed data. He stood by his data, so call your dealers and get ordering guys

We had a Long long discussion with lots of Apologies and washing of hands and blaming of Audi Germany who "tied their hands re the data of a Facelift model".. thing is you cant argue with a "deflection" like that, as such I recommended him to take my email, my feedback and point that to whoever in Germany made this decision. He tried twice to get me to go back and order a RS6, I told him politely and directly "that ship has sailed"

After a generally polite discussion, in closing he made a snide remark re "hope the tesla will not be unreliable" .. So I closed with that the One good thing to come out of this is that I will not be "so torn re my interests" at Le Mans in 2015 and will now be fully able to support the Porsche team for their win

He's correct re order book, brochure is available and orders can be taken.

Still doesn't excuse the fiasco, whoever's fault it is. The MK massive left be unimpressed, I refused to deal with my allocated chav, another communication to Andre followed which I insisted he dealt with personally. It appears to have had some dividends.

doodle bug your getting yours from kings lynn. ? After all the trouble and hassle from local garages Andy from DTUK on this forum as A3YSS i think pointed me in the direction of them and dan. Who just called me informing me and sent across the pi spec sheet so i can choose and send back across.

Having a look at the new 6 brochure and referring to the RS7 configurator seems to be a slight problem no digital tv reception ?. As they seem to have put it in a package which you can only have in conjuction with comfort seats . Also black optic type of pack is great saves you on carbon if you werent a big fan of mat alu but canno seem to have the carbon mirrors if i get this. As said will have to ask someone about this but not good if you want them 2.

Quick points I've noticed.

The price we saw a few weeks ago before it disappeared has been resigned to the bin. Its now £77,995 not the £76,780 we previously saw. So rather than the £200 lower start, its £990 up.

Dynamic pack is now £2600, up from £2075. A large shift given it no longer contains LED lights as part of the pack.

Adaptive cruise with lane assist and pre sense is down £155

Mobile phone prep high is now replaced with Audi connect and phonebox, which more than doubles the previous £350 to £750.

No option of sound insulated glass.

Hands free boot and advanced key is up from £575 to £750

The option of a gloss black pack is in at £980

Heated rear seats goes from £100 to a whopping £320

Same spec car is I ordered in pre facelift is £1835 more than before, but I am lucky in that many of the options I ticked now form part of packs. Others may not be so fortunate.

What would Audi charge for an upgrade to matrix LED and, if it were an option, an upgrade to the mmi? Probably more than the £1835. So I'm happy enough with that.
