No link for mugello yet just seen on Instagram as someone posted a pic well a salesperson. And agree that cars too much no B&O sound no ceramics 2 of the most expensive options if I'm not mistaken. They must know surely how hard to order and situation etc and trying to make someone pay stupid money.

I got my deposit back today .. Basingstoke Audi have been steller and if any one needs a name of some one to deal with there simply ask me.

Just hang on we've waited so long surely not much longer he says reassuringly to himself . Gdavison I did the same got my deposit back 2 months ago but my head says something else and etc I'm in need of a big fast estate my C6 is gone and I couldn't do without a RS6, just my choice and all of us guys just as soon as ready to order give me a good deal take my money and let me be in a RS6 soon. It's a good thing these cars are bloody good and worth the wait and <beep> service from the big wigs otherwise I would have stuck 2 fingers up and been in a AMG. And trust me I've been very close on a few occasions but I know if I came to a set of lights and seen a RS6 I'd know I was in the wrong car and made the wrong choice. Anyways hopefully soon for all of us waiting .

Normal supply and demand business
Unfortunately, in buying a near £100k fast car, it's as much an emotional decision as it is a logical one, so the supply and demand rules of pricing come into play with even greater effect

That car does appear overpriced, but I'm sure they'll shift it on to someone willing to pay not to wait

Personally, light leather asides, I think that's a lovely colour for it

Wouldn't have none of this supply and demand crap. If they didn't advertise a car that's not been able to order for a good while along with lies for updates it was available to order many next weeks ago. Along with that that cars no where near a 96k car take off 10k ish and your there if not a tad more or less. Anyways yeah they've seen this as an opportunity to help someone out in this situation. Audi sales man as he speaks ill tell you what mate ill sell you this for 10k more than its worth and save you the hassle of waiting anytime soon for a facelift to be released. I understand its business and supply and demand but its all they're fault in the first place, example few weeks ago before Bedford Audi sepang car was even posted for sale got a call from sales telling me about the car etc I said I'll wait mate for the facelift oooooohhh but I've just heard you could be waiting until back end of next year before its even released or you see what it looks like. Seriously just plain stupid and if he did say that and I bought it ??? Wouldn't be very happy. All in all its a lovely motor great colour and spec but not for that price so to whoever buys its fingers crossed they get a great deal and get it at a more realistic price. As mentioned before its very good that's it's an incredible car for most if not all to put up with false promises and nothing but bullsh*t these past couple months but I'm sure the waits almost over guys and finally we can put this to rest .

When porsche (arguably) under priced the 911 GT3's and then had the engine issue, dealers were pushing buyers to cancel their orders fully aware that when the car hit their showroom, they could shift a car listing (with options) at £108 at around £130k
Porsche GB eventually instructed dealers not to advertise the inflated prices on the porsche website, but to shift then out at that price through their own means
Supply and demand pricing strategy in the high end car world is rife, and always will be

"New A6 and A6 Avant ranges now available to order – first customer deliveries in December 2014.

S6 and S6 Avant available from November for March 2015 deliveries

RS 6 Avant availability for ordering TBC, expected in first quarter of 2015"

I am reading this right that you will not be able to order a FL RS6 until quarter one 2015

So deliveries won't be until end of quarter 2 2015, that's just mental.

TBH I hung on so long just wanting Audi to "tell the truth" as they nearly did above (ie without the TBC) and let folk know

Same as Porsche did when I asked about a Cayenne Hybrid earlier this year .. "Order book closed, no new spec cars can be ordered, some configured one exist in the systems which we can look at for you, new FL will open order book in November 2014 and UK delivery slots will be available April 2015"

I took this to mean that order books to open TBC (Audi UK keep telling me end of Oct - so this week?!) and then deliveries to be made towards the end of Q1 2015.

Still, given the lack of F**ks that AUK are giving this situation, i wouldnt be surprised if the books dont open till next year......
